The Uniting Church is the third largest Christian denomination in Australia.
We are connected by a single story, worshipping every week in more than 40 languages.
We are a fellowship of reconciliation, living God’s love and acting for the common good to build a just and compassionate community.
About Queanbeyan Uniting Church
The members of Queanbeyan Uniting Church seek to be people who encounter and experience the transforming love of Jesus in their daily lives.
They believe the discoveries they make together will give rise to creative ministries which nurture and serve. Their lives find their focus through participation in one of the two weekly services of worship and involvement in mid-week groups that nurture their faith.
Every Sunday when they gather for worship the mural that stretches in front of them is a reminder of the hills surrounding Queanbeyan.
The cross at the centre of the mural is a reminder that the ‘œhill people’ of Queanbeyan are also Christ’s people and are called to live like Jesus and be a visible expression of God’s commonwealth of peace in our places of work, our homes and the community of Queanbeyan.
